TYPES OF BRAIN CANCER (TUMOR) AND SPINAL CORD:
Melanoma is the kind of cancer that generally spread in the brain. Lymphoma, cancer of the lung, breast, and prostate cancer are generally spread to the spinal cord. Lung cancer are affecting about half of metastatic brain and spinal cord tumors. Breast cancer, Leukemia, gastrointestinal cancer and lymphoma may spread in leptomeninges (the two innermost membranes covering the brain and spinal cord).
The grade of a tumor may be used to difference between slow- and fast-growing types of the tumor. The grade of a tumor is based how quickly the tumor is likely to grow and spread.
Grade I (low-grade) —Grade one tumor grows slowly, and its cells look like normal cells, and rarely spreads into nearby tissues. This kind of tumor may be removed by surgery.
Grade II — The tumor grows slowly, but may spread into nearby tissue and may recur (come back). Some tumors may become a higher-grade tumor.
Grade III — This kind of tumor grows quickly and may be spread into nearby tissue. Appearance of cells of this kind of tumor are different from normal cells.
Grade IV (high-grade) — Cells of this kind of tumor appeared in different shape than normal cells which grows and spreads quickly. Chances of cure in this grade brain tumors are very less than lower-grade tumors.
ASTROCYTIC TUMOUS
An astrocytic tumor begins in star-shaped brain cells called astrocytes which is a type of glial cell and is sometimes called a glioma. Astrocytic tumors include the following:
- Brain stem glioma
- Pineal astrocytic tumour
- Pilocytic astrocytoma (grade I)
- Diffuse astrocytoma (grade II)
- Anaplastic astrocytoma (grade III)
- Glioblastoma (grade IV)
OLIGODENDROGLIAL TUMORS
A Tumor which begins in brain cells are termed as Oligodendrocytes Tumors. Grades of Oligodendroglial tumors include the following:
- Oligodendroglioma (grade II)
- Anaplastic oligodendroglioma (grade III)
MIXED GLIOMAS
A mixed Glioma is a Brain Cancer (Tumor) which most often forms in the cerebrum.
EPENDYMAL TUMOURS
An Ependymal tumor grows in cells of the fluid-filled spaces in the brain and around the spinal cord. Grades of Ependymal tumors include:
- Ependymoma (grade I or II)
- Anaplastic ependymoma (grade III)
EMBRYONAL CELL TUMORS (MEDULLOBLASTOMA (GRADE IV))
A Medulloblastoma is a type of Embryonal tumor which forms in brain cells when the fetus is beginning to develop. This type of brain tumor generally grows in the cerebellum. Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) carry cells of tumor which may spread from the brain to the spine.
PINEAL PARENCHYMAL TUMORS
A Pineal Parenchymal tumor forms in Parenchymal cells which makes pineal gland. Pineal Parenchymal tumors are divided into:
- Pineocytomas (grade II)
- Pineoblastomas (grade IV)
MENINGEAL TUMORS
A meningeal tumor may developed from different types of brain or spinal cord cells. Types of meningeal tumors include the following:
- Meningioma (grade I)
- Meningioma (grade II and III)
GERM CELL TUMORS
A Germ cell tumor develop into sperm in men or ova (eggs) in women which can either benign or malignant. It usually form in the center of the brain, near the pineal gland and can spread to other parts of the brain and spinal cord.
CRANIOPHARYNGIOMA (GRADE I) AND PITUITARY TUMOR
Craniopharygioma tumor grows in the center of the brain, just above the back of the nose.
OTHER BRAIN CANCER (TUMOR)
There are many other types of Brain Cancer (Tumor)s that are rare.
RECURRENT BRAIN CANCER (TUMOR)
A recurrent brain tumor is a tumor which reappeared after completion of treatment. The tumor may recur at the same place in the brain or in other parts of the central nervous system.
TESTS THAT ARE USED TO DETECT BRAIN CANCER (TUMOR)
- Physical exam and history
- Neurological exam:
- Tumor marker test:
- CT scan (CAT scan):
- MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) with gadolinium:
- PET scan (positron emission tomography scan):
- Angiogram.
FACTORS AFFECT PROGNOSIS (CHANCE OF RECOVERY) AND TREATMENT
The Chance of recovery and treatment for primary brain tumors depend on the following :
- The type and grade of the tumor.
- Where the tumor is in the brain.
- Cancer cells may remain after surgery (By other medical Science).
- Whether there are certain changes in the chromosomes.
- Whether the cancer has has recurred (come back) or first time diagnosed.
- The patient’s general health.
The Chance of recovery and treatment for metastatic brain tumors depend on the following:
- Whether the patient is younger than 60 years.
- Numbers of tumors in the brain or spinal cord.
- Where in the brain or spinal cord the tumors are.
- How well the tumor responds to treatment.
- Condition of the primary tumor whether it continues to grow or spread.
STAGES OF BRAIN TUMOR
The extent or growth of Breast Cancer is generally described in stages. Brain tumors that grows within the brain may spread to other parts of the brain and spinal cord, however rarely it spreads to other parts of the body. Treatment of brain tumors is relies on type of cell within which the tumor grows, and the grade of the tumor. Brain tumors treatment depends on development of the brain from i.e number of tumors in the brain.
TREATMENT OF BRAIN TUMOR
Types and stages of Brain cancer helps in deciding the appropriate treatment. Homeo Foundation is headed by Dr. Rajeev Kumar, BHMS, M.D. He is one of the best doctor (Oncologist) for Brain Cancer (Tumor) Treatment. He uses rare homeopathic medicines to boost the immunity of patients. These homeopathic medicines stop the growth of brain cancer (tumor) cells, and further doses start destroying the cancer cells. Symptoms of wellness can be starts visible after 90 days. DR. frequently visits clinic at Delhi, Noida and Patna.
Patients physical, mental and pathological condition helps is diagnosis. The selection of medicine is based on diagnosis and consultation with patients. This helps in selection of rare and uncommon homeopathic remedies. This medicine improves the patient’s condition without any side effects and provides excellent results.
He suggest patient to consult at Homeo Foundation prior to Chemotherapy or surgery as chances of recovery with Homeopathy Medicine is more comparable to Chemotherapy. There is no or rare of rarest side effect of Homeopathy medicine.
Consultation can be physical or online. Consultation fee is Rs 1500/- per consultation. Cost of treatment varying from Rs 12,000/- to Rs 15,000/- per month depending upon case to case and patients Condition. Bank details for consultation fee :
